Activity-1 Name: We introduce ourselves

Purpose: Start to know each other and connect to start to work together.

Application: They will do a little game talking about themselves like joining avatar and cards with a bit of information.

Evaluation: We will use a common checklist to evaluate if they write the minimum information.

Results: Students will make a group where they feel more comfortable.

 

Activity-2 Name: Creating a Traditional Digital Cookbook

Purpose: To get to know and learn about the food cultures of different societies.

Application: Using an e-book application tool such as Storyjumper, students will create a shared digital cookbook featuring local dishes. They will decide how to design it and how to organize or classify the recipes. Students participating in the project share the different recipes they have received from her families, friends and old people to create the book.

Evaluation: We will use a common rubric to evaluate the team work and the lingüistic and artistic skills.

Result: Students gain collaborative working skills and increase their digital competence.

 

Activity-3 Name: Organizing a Fashion Show with Recycled Materials or Recycled Outfits

Purpose: To promote social integration, respect for cultural differences, and awareness of the cultural richness of each individual. At the same time, to improve the awareness of the environment.

Application: Students are divided into groups. Using recycled materials (paper, garbage bags, plastic caps, etc.), they collaboratively create a traditional outfit. If this is not possible due to time or resource constraints, they can use pre-owned outfits instead and explain the benefits of buying second-hand clothing or borrowing clothes. They then present their outfits in an online meeting or virtual exhibition.

Evaluation: Students exchange information about their experiences using the question-and-answer method or via Padlet.

Result: Students' tolerance and awareness of cultural diversity is increased.

 

Activity-4 Name: Playlist with traditional or regional music

Purpose: To connect through music as a universal language.

Application: They will create a playlist including different songs that are typical at various parties. They must decide the order in which to place them or whether to classify them in some way.

Evaluation: We will use a common checklist to evaluate their team collaboration.

Result: They will enhance their collaborative skills.

 

Activity-5 Name: A party traveller.

Purpose: Developing students' creativity and linguistic skills.

Application: At the beginning of the activity, an illustrated story introduction is sent to all participating country students. Students from each country write the continuation of the story they received in turn and send it to the students of the next country by illustrating it. The students from the country with the highest country conclude the story. The main character could be a girl/boy that travels and visits some of our parties describing them. So that could include all the work made before.

Evaluation: Students share their opinions about the story through the online session method. We will use a common rubric to evaluate the team work and the lingüistic and artistic skills.

Result:They will improve linguistic and digital skills.

 

Activity 6 Name: Exploring different cultures using Web 2.0 tools.

Purpose: Developing digital skills by getting to know different cultures

Application: A question-and-answer quiz is created on Kahoot, featuring 50 questions about the cultures of the countries participating in the project. Through an online meeting, all participating students can join the activity simultaneously. Students attempt to answer the questions using the Kahoot platform.

Evaluation: At the end of the activity, students are asked to express their feelings and the cultural things they have learned.

Result: Students have improved their knowledge about other cultures.
